Events guidelines
Events and promotional marketing partnerships must promote the positive image of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Missouri, and must have prior approval from our office for the use of our name and logo.
Any individual, organization, or business wishing to conduct an event, cause-related promotion, or other fundraiser must first review and complete the Fundraising License Agreement and Event Proposal Form in order to obtain approval from the Foundation. These are terms and conditions that are set by our National Office. (Click here to download all Event Forms in one PDF document.)
We cannot provide operational volunteers to help run your event. However, we may be able to send a representative to speak at your event. Outside of public speakers, we do not provide additional volunteers.
We may be able to provide a banner or other promotional materials such as a video or brochures for your event.
There are technical printing specifications, which apply to our logo. If you would like to use our logo after your event is approved, please contact our staff. We will provide you with an official copy. You may not alter or modify our logo in any way. Prior to publication or distribution, please submit to the Foundation ALL samples of printed materials that contain the name or logo.
There are laws governing raffles, tax deductions, and printing of tickets to performances and sporting events that will partially or wholly benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Contact our staff before planning a raffle, printing or selling any kind of tickets, or discussing tax deductions with prospective donors.
If you have any questions regarding your fundraising event, these guidelines or the forms, please contact the office at info@missouri.wish.orgor 800-937-9474.
